A series published in 2011 that charts my affair with a first love (Parts 1 to 6), leading directly into Part 7, where I address his published memoirs and the documented fallacies within Hodder & Stoughton’s Gypsy Boy. ‘Mikey Walsh’ made this my business the moment he appropriated elements of my life as his own. When he wrote about me, my life, and my relationship with him, did he expect that I would remain powerless, silenced, and buried alive by this constructed narrative? Perhaps my voice has felt like a scream in a hurricane—ineffectual and lost to the corporate machine—but I hold the bedrock truth. While its presence here online has appeased me, this will never be truly over until he, and the enablers who profited from him, acknowledge what they have done. I have followed the truth above all else, all of my life. It leads to contentment of the soul, surety of purpose, and a will no power on earth can extinguish.
